The year is 1876; the war has been over for two years. The South is still recovering from the destruction of the war. Families lost loved ones or have been wiped out.
During the war and after, to avoid these calamities, some family members made deals with demons who had been taking advantage of the carnage done during and post-war. Desperate people are willing to do whatever a twisted demon wants. All to spare their loved ones or survive the economic despair that others are going through. Easy pickings of souls to collect all for a moment of peace.
In this game, each of you plays a member of special bloodlines—bloodlines that have had some brush with the supernatural or have a history of combating the forces of evil. The characters are the heroes trying to save those exploited or tortured by these foul, dark entities.
This book is packed with a list of Good guys, Bad guys, and ones who ride both sides of the fence. You will find a brief write-up about each of these characters, followed by three plot seeds to be used in your Southern Gothic campaign or any horror game.
Following up after the NPCs, you will find an adventure for use with Southern Gothic called Pieces of Her. This adventure can be used to blend into other missions.
